Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Through Adoration of the Blessed
Sacrament, we have the opportunity to do Him the kindness of
going to Him. We would like to hear from you whether you would
like to make a
commitment to attend Eucharistic
Adoration for an hour once a week in the Chapel, volunteer to be
a substitute, or would just like more information about this
uniquely Catholic tradition of prayer.
We also have Adoration Monday
through Thursday from 3:00-5:00p.m. in the Youth Center Chapel.

Altar Servers
Youth between the ages of 11-14 who are
committed to serving and participating in the Eucharistic
celebration of the Mass.
Training provided.

Diocesan trained Ministers to assist interested parties through
the Annulment process

Art and Environment
The goal of Art & Environment is to enrich the atmosphere of the
church for our liturgical
celebrations during the liturgical year.
People who are creative are invited
to participate to bring beauty and delight to our worship.

Baptismal Preparation
This ministry prepares parents and godparents for the baptism of
their children.
|
Boy Scout Ministry
We host Scouts at various levels, Bobcats, Bears/Wolves and
Webelos. Scout leaders are needed at all levels.

Christian Family Formation / Generations of Faith * Unassigned
Our program is a process of religious
education for the entire family, broken into two parts (1)
evening or Saturday morning sessions at the Parish and (2)
family sessions in the home. We use a family oriented curriculum
based on the Sunday Readings and with doctrine information
included.
Many volunteers are needed.

Chiapas Sister Parish Committee
The Chiapas Sister Parish Committee is
dedicated to strengthening cultural ties with and
providing financial aid to our
Sister Parish, San Juan Chamula, located in Chiapas, Mexico. New
volunteers are always welcome.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Offers children the opportunity to experience God’s word and the
Eucharistic celebration in ways that are meaningful to them.
Need volunteers to proclaim the Word to children and direct them
in understanding its meaning in their lives. Volunteers work as
a team during the 8:30am, 10am and 11:45am Masses.

Christian Initiation of Adults
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
names the process by which interested
persons gradually become members of
the Catholic Church.
Sponsors are always needed to be a
companion for those on the journey leading to the Easter
Sacraments.

Committee Concerned for the Homeless
Provides assistance to the homeless and
less fortunate in many ways.
The Committee also cooperates with
Society of St Vincent de Paul to provide gifts and food for over
200 families, including 600 – 650 children at Christmas.

Divine Mercy
A
devotion to the Divine Mercy of Jesus every Friday at 7:00p.m.
in the Chapel.

Dominican Laity
They are men and women who are concerned
with their relationship with God and their
commitment to the Church. They join
the unique and different personalities and talents to follow a
way of life, which includes prayer, study, apostolic works and
mutual sharing.

Ecumenism
This movement is one in which Christian
churches work together for unity in building
relationships in Christ.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (Eucharist Ministers)
As a minister of communion, you are called
on to serve the Body of Christ to the Church. Like all
ministries, this is a great honor and a great responsibility.
Training is provided to those
interested.

Family Life Ministry
Is dedicated to promoting faith as the foundation for all our
families. Through home spiritual activities and family prayers
provided by the committee, we help to strengthen each individual
family’s spiritual life at home. We offer opportunities for our
families to connect and bond with other families within the
large parish family through retreats and other recreational and
spiritual events.

Girl Scouts
Girl Scouting is a values-based
organization providing exciting opportunities for girls 5 – 17
years old. The motivating force in Girl Scouting is spiritual.
Girls develop and practice new skills, and in the process earn
recognition in the form of badges and patches. There is also a
religious recognition program.
Volunteers are needed.

Gift Shop
Most Holy Trinity has a gift shop offering
a wide array of religious articles.
We are in need of volunteers to
work in the Gift Shop on weekends.

Hospitality Ministers
Hospitality Ministers bring honor and
glory to God by providing a warm spirit of Christian
friendliness to all who join us.
Volunteers needed at all the masses
to greet, welcome, distribute worship aids and assist with the
collection.

Knights of Columbus
Knights of Columbus are committed to the
exemplification of charity, unity, fraternity,
patriotism and promotion of the
priesthood. The Order has been praised by popes, presidents, and
other world leaders, for support of the Church, programs of
evangelization and Catholic education, civic involvement and aid
to those in need. It is firmly committed to the protection of
human life, from conception to natural death, and to the
preservation and defense of the family.

Youth Ministry
Youth
Ministry is a program designed to minister to teens of all
faiths from a uniquely Catholic base. We attempt to reach teens
on spiritual, educational, emotional and social levels. Teens
are encouraged to embark on a journey of faith and relationship
with God through Jesus Christ.
At a weekly Life Teen Mass, teens
enter into authentic and full
worship of God with a faith
community of peers, families and adult ministers.
Volunteers are needed.

Liturgical Minister Scheduling (Lectors, EMs and Altar Servers)
Maintain accurate records of all
commissioned Liturgical Ministers, Mass preference and their
telephone numbers.
Publish a quarterly schedule for
all weekend masses (excludes the Life Teen Mass).

Marriage Preparation
The Marriage Prep team is composed of several couples from each
of our communities: English and Spanish. They meet with couples
wishing to marry in the Catholic Church and provide classes and
guidance through the parish’s preparation process.
|
Ministry of Care
Our parish reaches out to the sick,
hospitalized, homebound, nursing homes and the bereaved. We take
Holy Communion weekly to the sick and homebound, as well as area
nursing homes and retirement centers; visit patients at John C.
Lincoln Hospital daily, minister to bereaved families at the
time of death, offer “grief support group” and “caregiver
support group”. Volunteers will receive training.

Ministers of the Word (Lectors)
When you answer the call to proclaim the Bible readings to the
assembled faith community, you enter a deeper relationship with
the word of God as revealed in sacred scripture. You take upon
yourself the duty and privilege of bringing the printed word to
life. Training is provided.

Music Ministry
Music serves the community by helping it
express the gift of faith within us, and by guiding the
community toward full, active participation in every worship
gathering.
The goal of every music minister is
to assist in joining the assembly with Christ who is always at
the center of our musical prayer.
Those who are vocalists and
instrumentalists are welcome to join us.

Office Volunteers
Assist the office staff with everyday
office procedures, filing, answering phones, assembling worship
aids, stuffing the bulletin when there are inserts, assist with
bulk mailings.
|
Our Lady of the Wayside Sodality
The Sodality is open to practicing Catholic women. Members live
a life of consecration to our Blessed Mother in order to be
under her special protection and to live in imitation of her.
The special apostolate chosen by our Sodality at MHT is first,
to do all possible to help within our own family and daily
surroundings, then to do all possible to help MHT Parish.

Pastoral Council
This is a planning and advisory group that
focuses on advancing the apostolic role of the laity and the
apostolic potential of the parish. The council consists of
parishioners who serve a
three-year term.

Sacristan
People who devote much time and energy to
the preparation of our worship space and maintain our Sacristy.
Training is required and provided.
|

Scripture Classes
Learning and discussing the teachings of different Books within
the Holy Bible.
|
Social Justice Committee
The committee works to ensure that Catholic social teaching is
introduced in faith formation, school, and ministries in the
parish. It provides supportive efforts for respect for life from
birth to natural death. The group also works with other faith
groups through efforts such as Crop Walk and Valley Interfaith
Project with their efforts to build relationships, learning
about each other’s concerns, and finding ways of working within
the system to bring about change. The Committee also coordinates
the Catholic Campaign of Human Development.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an
international lay organization that seeks, in a spirit of
justice and charity, to help those who are suffering. Vicentian
spirituality is based on the very real presence of Christ in
every person, especially those who have been disenfranchised or
marginalized by society. In
addition to assisting people with the basics of daily living
(food, rent, utilities, etc.), Vicentians are obligated to
cultivate sensitivity to, and eradication of, social injustices
that are the root of poverty.

Stewardship Committee
The Stewardship Committee has the
responsibility to provide leadership to the stewardship effort
at Most Holy Trinity Community on a year round basis. This
includes overseeing the
initial introduction of the
stewardship way of life to the parish and conducting annual
renewal efforts. In addition, the committee performs ongoing
evaluation of the stewardship effort and communicates the
results to the MHT community.

Valley Interfaith Projects (VIP)
VIP works within the parish, across the Valley, and (with
related organizations) across the state to teach citizens to
advocate in the public arena on behalf of their own families,
institutions, and neighborhoods. Our work addresses issues such
as education, health care, immigration, and safety. Through
leadership training and strategic actions, VIP provides an
opportunity to fulfill our call to Faithful Citizenship.

Matrimonios
Este ministerio ofrece preparación matrimonial según
el programa Diocesano para aquellas personas que quieren recibir
el sacramento del matrimonio.

Viva un fin de semana del Encuentro Matrimonial, una experiencia
positiva y personal
que ofrece a parejas casadas una oportunidad de aprender una
técnica de comunicación amorosa que pueden usar por el resto de
sus vidas. El encuentro te da la oportunidad de mirar
profundamente la relación del uno con el otro y con Dios. Este
retiro es un enfoque único dirigido a la pareja y a revitalizar
el Matrimonio. Todo matrimonio merece esa clase de atención.

Arte Litúrgico
La meta de este comité es enriquecer el ambiente de la iglesia
para nuestras celebraciones
de liturgia. La Instrucción General del Misal Romano dice:
Porque la asamblea se une
en la presencia de Dios para celebrar sus hazañas de salvación,
el clima de la liturgia es
uno de asombro, misterio, reverencia, alabanza y de dar gracias.
Así no se puede
satisfacer a menos que esté en un ambiente hermoso y con todos
sus artefactos y
movimientos.

Legión de Maria
¿Qué
es?
La Legión de Maria es una
Asociación de Católicos, hombres y mujeres que propagan la fe y
crecen juntos en su amor por Jesucristo, en unión con la Virgen
Maria, Su mas perfecta seguidora y apóstol.

Coro
El coro es un servicio a la comunidad por
medio del canto en la santa misa.
Nos da la oportunidad de que toda
la
asamblea
participe en los cantos y juntos hacer nuestra celebración más
alegre.

Cuidado de Enfermos
Este ministerio se encarga de visitar a los enfermos para orar
juntos y recibir la Santa Eucaristía ya sea en la casa o en el
hospital.

Grupo de Oración Carismático
Este grupo de oración es un lugar donde tú y
tu familia pueden venir para orar y alabar
al Señor.
Todos los martes de 7 - 9 P.M. en
el Salón McHugh.

Monaguillos
Es un ministerio donde los niños participan ayudando al
sacerdote en la liturgia
dominical.

Hospitalidad
La función de este ministerio es dar una calurosa bienvenida a
nuestros hermanos

feligreses que llegan los sábados o domingos a la celebración de
la Santa Misa.
También distribuyen los boletines
con la información de la actividades en nuestra comunidad.

El comité de nuestra parroquia hermana en
Chiapas, Méx., se dedica a fortalecer la cultura indígena,
asistiéndolos con ayuda.

Nuestra
Misión,
Nuestro programa bilingüe parroquial de Educación Religiosa, a
través de la dedicación de nuestros catequistas voluntarios,
ayudan a las familias en la iniciación y la formación de fe de
los niños y jóvenes.
Esto se lleva acabo por medio de la catequesis y preparación de
los estudiantes para recibir los sacramentos, oportunidad para
celebraciones litúrgicas y oportunidades para que estudiantes y
familias puedan tomar una parte activa
en la vida
parroquial.

Educación Cristiana de Adultos – RICA
Este es un proceso donde
una
persona se convierte al Catolicismo atendiendo el
proceso de RICA. Es un viaje de conversión que toma su tiempo e
incluye
atender clases cada semana, compartiendo su fe y sus
experiencias humanas, celebrando ritos especiales y retiros
juntos.
