From Psalms to PowerPoint, we teach it all.

Faculty:

In addition to the faculty, the school has an office manager, a development director, a counselor, and a nurse on campus. Thirty-three percent of the certified staff hold master's degrees. Ongoing professional and spiritual development is evident by workshops and in-services attended by the staff throughout the year. Teachers set annual professional goals for themselves.

The parish clergy are actively involved in the school and support its mission.

Our Vision:

MHT serves students in preschool through grade eight. MHT fosters a learning environment dedicated to a diverse multi-cultural community. This community, made up of students, family members, faculty, church and parish supports the moral development of the students, which encompasses the values and traditions of our Roman Catholic faith.

Parents, family members and community members all volunteer and contribute to the education program by their presence, active participation, support and generous sharing of resources.

Ongoing efforts by faculty, staff and administration illustrate a strong commitment to Catholic education now and into the future.

MHT strives for academic excellence through a variety of teaching strategies, which meet the individual needs and capabilities of the students. Inherent to their daily teachings are the Discipline With Purpose Program and the Student Learning Expectations (SLEs).

Through the course of their education, the students recognize their role in the community and their responsibility to give of themselves in service to others.

As one community,

  • We will continue to develop and improve our services and programs in an effort to enhance the students' education and to meet their future needs.
  • We will continue to offer financial assistance to families in need and respond to the changing needs of the community.
  • We will strive to provide an education that enables all students the opportunity to meet the stated goals in both religious and academic areas.
